Watch on YouTubeMusic and art are always in harmony with the nature, and I strongly believe that it can connect people of our nation in spite of our diversity and bring harmony among us all. As an attempt to reflect my dedication towards Sitar, I present this classical piece based on Hindustani Classical Raag Miyan ki Malhar, taught by my Guru Ma Dr. Murchana Adhikary Barthakur, under the guidance of whom I have been learning for the past 4.5 years. This composition is in Drut Laya on Teen Taal (16 beats). I have played only certain parts of it, which includes the Sthai, a Layakari and Jhaala, ending it all with a Tehai. I wish to effectively convey my passion for music, especially Sitar, through this video, and I hope everyone enjoys the composition.

Watch on YouTubeMusic is my passion, and flute is the language through which I express myself. I am currently in my learning phase, constantly practicing and improving every single day. Though I am not a professional yet, I put my heart into every note I play. This instrumental cover is my effort to showcase my dedication, emotions, and love for music. I believe learning never stops, and this is just the beginning of my journey. Hoping to connect with hearts through my flute and grow further with this opportunity.

Watch on YouTubeI have instrumentally covered the iconic Tumhe Dillagi sargam by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan on guitar, attempting to recreate every fast-paced vocal phrase and intricate movement note-for-note. This sargam is widely admired for its speed, precision, emotional depth, and classical complexity, making it extremely challenging to adapt onto a fretted instrument. Through this cover, I aimed to preserve the soul, intensity, and flow of the original performance while translating its vocal expressions into expressive guitar phrasing. The process required days of focused practice, accuracy in articulation, alternate picking control, and attention to every subtle melodic transition. This performance is both a tribute to the timeless artistry of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahab and an exploration of how Indian classical and sufi-inspired vocal techniques can be interpreted through instrumental guitar performance.
