Hello everyone! I am Aadya Ghosh, a second year B.A(Hons.) Economics student of University of Delhi. I am trained Kathak dancer, learning for the past 13 years. The video I have uploaded for my audition is in two parts. The first part represents a pure classical piece composed by Smt. Bhageshree Vaze in taal Dhamar. However, the second part is a krishna thumri is also performed representing the mischievous yet beautiful teasing between Radha and lord Krishna. the first part is a pure representation of the classical and technical parts of the dance form whereas the second part that is the Krishna Thumri is based more on the expressive part.
