Special Olympics Bharat presents CHAYANIT – The Chosen Ones, India’s first neurodivergent (specially abled) music band. Neurodivergent individuals experience and process the world differently, including people with autism and other developmental conditions. Every artist in CHAYANIT is neurodivergent, and together they are breaking stereotypes through music. Formed last year, the band has already performed at nearly 20 major shows across India, reaching over 30,000 people live. CHAYANIT is also a proud winner of the prestigious Prerna Puruskar. The band includes drummer Chayan Taneja, guitarist Kevin Aryan Mitchell, bass guitarist and vocalist Eshaan Pratap Singh, keyboardist Shreyan Chakraborty, vocalist Ayush Jha, all from Delhi, along with other talented members from the NCR. For this talent hunt, CHAYANIT presents a powerful and highly technical instrumental piece that showcases the talent, resilience, discipline, and dedication of its artists.
